Now, ask me what next week's theme for Ladies 8 Ball will be?? Pull out your Halloween costumes (you all asked for a Halloween Night....this is my version) and start filling your tote bag/purse with stuff! Who knows what I'll ask for. And yes, there will be zonks!

We're winding down the session and I thought it would be fun to wrap things up with one last theme night and send some of you off with some goodies!

Next session starts Sept 2nd. We've sent out flyers to see if there is interest in a Ladies travel league again. I will keep you posted on the responses we get and if there will be any change to our current location or format. Now would be a really great time for you to help recruit for the Ladies 8 Ball league! The more teams/players we have, the stronger the league. Wouldn't it be nice to actually compete nationally as a true ladies league??? Just saying!

We are exploring some different options for the Ladies 8 Ball League. Currently we have 5 teams playing at Fastbreak in Summerville on Thursday nights. After 3 sessions, we have decided it might be time to relocate or consider a travel league.

Previous polls and discussions with the locations and the players indicates that Tuesday or Thursday nights seem to be the best for availability.

Please email me or call if you have any interest in participating on either of these nights. If we can not put together enough teams to justify a travel league...we will look at possible relocation to North Park Grill in N. Charleston or Southern Comfort in Summerville for in house play.

Our goal is to have at least 10 teams to compete as a Ladies League on a National level. We had 2 Ladies teams participate in the City Tournament this year and they did very well considering they played in a mixed tournament and were subject to the 23 rule (as opposed to the ladies 19 rule).

I am always open to suggestions and comments from any and all.
